Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Manual Testing
Understanding of SDLC & STLC
Ability to understand and analyze User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
Ability to create Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Data
Strong UI Testing skills, including:
UI consistency
Responsive design
Cross-browser testing
Form validation
Usability and user experience checks
Strong Functional & Logic Testing
Ability to identify business logic issues and edge cases
Knowledge of Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration & System Testing
Experience with Bug Reporting and Tracking
Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools
Basic knowledge of API Testing
Basic knowledge of SQL/Database Testing
Understanding of VAPT / Security Testing concepts
Ability to identify common security vulnerabilities and testing gaps
Understanding of OWASP Top 10 is a plus
Ability to perform negative testing and boundary-value testing
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good client-handling and requirement-discussion skills
Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios
